Payments

How does payment work?+

Checkout runs through our PCI compliant secure payment provider. Card details are tokenised and never touch our servers.

What cards do you accept?+

All major UK debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Apple Pay and Google Pay work on supported devices.

Do you store my card details?+

No. Only your payment provider stores card details. We only see the transaction reference.

Can I get a refund on a ticket?+

Once ticket numbers are issued and the draw is still open or has run, entries are final. Refunds apply if we cancel the draw, a duplicate charge occurs, or where the law requires.

How fast do refunds arrive?+

Approved refunds appear on your card within 5 to 10 working days depending on your issuer.

Is there a currency conversion fee?+

No. All prices are in GBP. Your bank may apply their own conversion charge if your card is not GBP.

Jungle Club

What is Jungle Club?+

Our £12.99 per month membership. You get one automatic free entry into every active prize draw, 15% off paid tickets, exclusive drops, priority support and no dashboard adverts.

How do I cancel?+

Cancel any time from your dashboard. No minimum contract, no exit fee. Your benefits stay live until the end of the paid month.

Do free member entries have the same odds?+

Yes. Every ticket, paid or member free, sits in the same weighted pool for the random draw.

Can I skip a month?+

There is no explicit skip mechanism, but you can cancel and rejoin later without losing your XP or account history.

Are Jungle Club charges billed monthly or upfront?+

Monthly, on the anniversary of your join date. Membership renews automatically until you cancel.

Charities

How much of my ticket goes to charity on a charity draw?+

100% of ticket revenue on a charity draw, minus unavoidable card processing fees, is transferred to the nominated charity within 30 days of the draw closing.

Who pays for the prize on a charity draw?+

The prize is either sponsored at no cost to the charity, or funded by Jungle Jackpot separately from the ticket pool. The donation is not used to buy the prize.

Can I see the amount raised?+

Yes. After settlement we publish the total transferred on the competition page.

How do you pick charity partners?+

UK registered charities only. We prioritise wildlife conservation, reforestation and community environmental causes.

Do you plant trees for every ticket?+

Site-wide policy: two saplings planted for every £5 you spend. Live counter on the homepage and each competition page.

What kind of products do you offer?+

Vivariums and reptile gear (Exo Terra, Zoo Med, HabiStat), aquascape and aquatics gear (Swell, Aqua One), plant smart tech, smart home, gaming and lifestyle drops.

Are the products brand new?+

Yes. Every product prize is brand new, sealed and covered by the manufacturer's UK warranty.

Can I request a specific product?+

Yes, submit it on the Wishlist page. Top voted products get featured on the jungle floor.

Experiences

What kind of experiences do you offer?+

Workshops, wildlife tours, garden days out, weekend breaks and other memorable prizes across the UK.

How do I redeem an experience?+

After the draw confirms, our team emails you the booking instructions and a redemption window. Most experiences must be booked within 12 months.

Can I bring a friend?+

Almost every experience is for two people. The competition page always states the number of guests.

What if I cannot make the date?+

Contact us at least 14 days before your booking. We will do our best to reschedule at the provider's discretion.

Competitions

What is a competition of skill?+

A prize competition where entrants must answer a genuine skill question. Under UK legislation governing skill competitions this is fully lawful and does not require a lottery licence.

Do I really need to answer the skill question?+

Yes. Every entry runs through a genuine multiple choice question. That is what makes Jungle Jackpot a lawful prize competition and not a lottery.

What if I get the skill question wrong?+

You get two attempts. If both are wrong the entry is refused and no payment is taken. You are welcome to come back and try again.

How are winners picked?+

By an independent, certified random number generator, over the pool of correctly answered entries. Every valid ticket has an equal chance in the draw.

Can Jungle Jackpot bias a draw?+

No. Every draw runs on the same independent, automated system. Every step is permanently recorded so entries cannot be altered after the draw.

When does the draw run?+

Within 24 hours of the competition's closing time. Most run within minutes because the draw runs automatically.

How will I know if I won?+

In app notification the moment the draw confirms, plus an email to the address on your account.

How do I claim a win?+

Reply to the winner email with your delivery details. We despatch within 7 working days once identity is verified.

Accounts

Do I need an account to enter?+

Yes for paid entries. You can also enter free by post without an account, using the address on our Free entry page.

Can I have more than one account?+

No. One account per person. Duplicate accounts are disqualified from active draws.

How do I change my email address?+

Update it in your dashboard under Account. We send a confirmation to the new address to prevent takeover attempts.

How do I delete my account?+

Email us at support@junglejackpotuk.com and we will delete your account within 14 days, keeping only the transaction records the law requires us to keep.

What is my public jungle?+

Your public profile page where fellow entrants can see your wins, plant journal and jungle collection. Privacy modes: Public, Approval, Private.

Security

How do you keep my data safe?+

Data at rest is encrypted in our MongoDB cluster. Session cookies are HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=None. Card data never touches our servers.

Do you use two factor authentication?+

Not yet at launch. We will add TOTP shortly. In the meantime use a unique strong password on your account.

What if I think my account is compromised?+

Reset your password immediately via Forgot password. Then email us at support so we can review recent activity and force-out any active sessions.

Where do you host?+

UK based cloud infrastructure. All personal data stays within the UK and EU.

Shipping

How fast do prizes ship?+

Within 7 working days of the draw closing. Live plants are inspected, packed in protective sleeves and shipped by tracked courier.

Where do you ship to?+

UK mainland is free. Highland, islands and Northern Ireland add 1 to 3 days. We do not ship prizes internationally.

What if my plant arrives damaged?+

Take photographs within 48 hours and email support@junglejackpotuk.com. We will replace or refund.

Do I need to be in to receive the prize?+

The courier will follow their standard neighbour or safe place process if you are out. Live plants above 60 cm may need a signature.

Returns

Can I cancel a ticket after buying?+

Once ticket numbers are issued and the draw is still open or has run, entries are final. Refunds only where we cancel a draw, a duplicate charge occurs, or where the law requires.

What if I win but cannot keep the prize?+

We can swap it for a cash equivalent, or you can gift the win to a friend.

How long do refunds take?+

What if a prize arrives in poor condition?+

Take photographs within 48 hours and email us. Live plants get replaced or refunded. Products get replaced under the manufacturer warranty.
