Skill competition rules

These rules govern every prize competition we run on Jungle Jackpot.

1. What this is

Jungle Jackpot is operated as a UK skill-based prize competition, in accordance with UK legislation governing skill competitions. Each competition asks you to answer a genuine skill question that meaningfully filters entrants. Winners are drawn at random from the pool of correct answers.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be aged 18 or over.
  • You must be a UK resident.
  • Employees, directors and immediate family of Jungle Jackpot cannot enter.
  • Where a specific competition sets extra rules (for example a plant hobbyist filter) they are shown on that competition's page.

3. How to enter

  • Paid entry: pay the ticket price shown on the competition page. Answer the skill question. Ticket numbers are issued immediately.
  • Free postal entry: send your name, address, date of birth and answer to the skill question to our published postal address. One postal entry per person per competition. See Free postal entry in the footer for the address and template.

4. Skill question

Each competition has a genuine multiple choice question. You have up to two attempts. If both attempts are wrong your entry is refused and no charge is taken. The question is drawn from a rotating pool and never trivially copied from the answer.

5. The draw

  • Winners are drawn by an independent, certified random number generator over the pool of correctly answered entries. Every valid ticket has an equal chance.
  • Every draw is permanently recorded. On request we will show you the entry pool size and the time of the draw.
  • Where competitions have a fixed close date, the draw runs within 24 hours of that close.

6. Notification and verification

The winner is notified in their Jungle Jackpot account and by email within 24 hours of the draw. We may ask you to verify your identity (name, date of birth, delivery address) before despatching the prize.

If we cannot reach a winner within 30 days we reserve the right to redraw at our discretion.

7. Prizes

Prizes are as described on each competition page. Where a live plant is offered we may substitute for a similar specimen of equal or greater value if the exact plant is not available at despatch. Cash alternative is offered where a prize cannot be despatched.

8. Complaints

Email support@junglejackpotuk.com. Unresolved disputes may be referred to an independent adjudicator agreed by both parties.

9. Governing law

These rules are governed by the law of England and Wales.
